A cream field worked in fine scrolling vine and small blossoms, with a lobed coral medallion at the centre and a pendant reaching from each end. The corners carry large scrolling forms in coral, sage and crimson, and a wide coral-salmon main border of flowering vine frames the whole, closed by cream guard bands. In the outer band above the fringe sits a small lobed cartouche in pale green — the position a workshop signature occupies.
Hand-knotted in wool at a fine gauge, fully curvilinear throughout. The coral does the structural work here: it appears in the medallion, in the corner scrolls and across the border, so those three elements read as one system holding the cream field between them. At 200×301cm this is a large room rug, big enough for a full seating group or a dining table with chairs pulled out. Both the cream field and the coral border are pale, so this suits a considered room rather than a working one.
