Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A cream field worked in fine scrolling vine and small blossoms, with a lobed coral medallion at the centre and a pendant reaching from each end. The corners carry large scrolling forms in coral, sage and crimson, and a wide coral-salmon main border of flowering vine frames the whole, closed by cream guard bands. In the outer band above the fringe sits a small lobed cartouche in pale green — the position a workshop signature occupies.

Hand-knotted in wool at a fine gauge, fully curvilinear throughout. The coral does the structural work here: it appears in the medallion, in the corner scrolls and across the border, so those three elements read as one system holding the cream field between them. At 200×301cm this is a large room rug, big enough for a full seating group or a dining table with chairs pulled out. Both the cream field and the coral border are pale, so this suits a considered room rather than a working one.

This is a fine, hand-knotted piece that rewards a little extra care. 100% wool pile with a natural fringe at both ends.

Both the cream field and the coral border are pale, so this rug shows traffic and spills more readily than a dark one. Coral is a weak red and among the less light-fast colours on the rug, so the border will lose tone before the field does. A fine pile crushes under furniture legs, so use a rug pad. If the end cartouche proves to be inscribed, place that end away from the main walkway.

Look at the narrow band just above the fringe at one end. There is a small lobed cartouche there in pale green, outlined in dark, and that is exactly where a Persian workshop places its signature — the weaver's or the master's name, sometimes with the town. Whether this one carries a name or is left as an ornamental panel is worth checking with the rug in hand and good light; not every cartouche is inscribed, and the distinction matters, because a signed rug is attributable to a named workshop in a way an unsigned one is not. Set that aside and look at how the coral is used. It appears in three places only — the medallion, the corner scrolls and the border — and because those are the three points that define a rug's geometry, the single colour ties the whole composition together while the cream field stays open between them. Take the coral out of any one of the three and the design would lose its balance.
