Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A coral Jaldar rug with a column of three diamond medallions, each ringed by serrated, hooked outlines around a small cross-shaped centre, on an open ground. Hooked half-diamonds enter from the long sides between the medallions and from the four corners, so the field reads as one continuous net. A wide main border of small diamond lozenges, flanked by narrow guard stripes of tiny geometric repeats, frames the design, with fringe at both ends.

Hand-knotted in Pakistan in wool, with a soft, lustrous pile. At 64×99cm this is an extra small rug, ideal for an entrance, a bedside or a small space.

Material: 100 percent wool pile, hand-knotted in Pakistan. Wool is naturally resilient and hard-wearing, and the pile is made for everyday use, including busy spots like an entrance.

A deep, rich ground like this hides everyday marks well, but strong colours can fade unevenly in direct sunlight, and the pile looks lighter or darker depending on the direction it is brushed.

Jaldar rugs are woven in Pakistan in the Turkmen tradition, close cousins of the Bokhara but drawn around diamonds rather than oval güls; the name comes from the net-like lattice that links the compartments. This small piece carries a column of three diamond medallions, each ringed by serrated, hooked outlines around a small cross-shaped centre, set well apart on an open ground. Hooked half-diamonds enter from the long sides between the medallions and from the four corners, so the field reads as one continuous net. A wide main border of small diamond lozenges, flanked by narrow guard stripes of tiny geometric repeats, frames the whole, and the pile is finished with fringe at both ends. The coral ground gives the crisp geometry a soft, lived-in warmth. A rug of this size is made for an entrance, a bedside or any small space that wants a touch of pattern underfoot.
