Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A navy blue rug with a floral vine design: inside a narrow frame, rows of stylised flowering trees and fan-shaped flower sprays repeat down the field, linked by fine scrolling vines, while a wide open border is circled by trailing vines that carry large round blooms. The pattern is drawn boldly and stands out clearly from the dark ground.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan in wool. Fine tonal streaks run across the navy ground, giving the plain stretches of the border a soft, moving texture. At 180×272cm this is a large rug for a living room or dining room.

Material: 100 percent wool pile, hand-knotted in Afghanistan. Wool is naturally resilient and hard-wearing, and the pile is made for everyday use in living and dining rooms.

A deep ground like this hides everyday marks well, but strong colours can fade unevenly in direct sunlight, and the pile looks lighter or darker depending on the direction it is brushed.

The layout of this rug is simple and strong: a framed field and a wide, open border. In the field, stylised flowering trees with broad crowns alternate row by row with fan-shaped sprays of blooms, and thin scrolling vines run between them so the rows join into one continuous pattern. The border around the frame is mostly plain navy, which lets the trailing vines stand out as they climb around all four sides, carrying large round flowers at intervals. There is no central medallion, so the rug looks the same from any side of the room. From a distance the frame gives a clear, tidy shape; up close the leaves, stems and petals come forward. It suits a living or dining room with simple furniture.
