A navy Nain rug with a field shaped like a lobed arch at both ends, outlined by a scalloped band. At its centre sits a round rosette medallion with small pendants above and below, and the arched field around it is filled with Shah Abbasi palmettes, blossoms and scrolling vines, mirrored with great precision. The spandrels outside the arch carry curling arabesque leaves. A wide border of palmettes and blossoms on a flowing vine, between slim guard stripes of small flowers, completes the design.

Material: 100 percent wool pile, hand-knotted in Nain, Iran. Fine wool is naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a gentle sheen and a natural resistance to everyday dirt.

Returns
For a change of mind, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer and can be expensive from outside Japan, so please ask us about size or colour before you order. If your rug arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, contact us with photos within 30 days of delivery: we pay for the return and send a replacement or a full refund.
