Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A light beige field covered with rows of lobed Turkmen güls in tan, brown and soft rose, with small cross-shaped minor güls set between them. Wide borders in tan and brown frame the field: a main band of hooked octagonal güls in compartments, set between narrow bands of small diamonds and stripes, with broad bands of diamond lattice across each end, a plain beige outer band and a short fringe.

Hand-knotted in wool. The whole rug is worked in one family of warm neutrals — beige, tan, brown and a touch of rose — so the traditional Turkmen pattern reads as texture rather than strong colour. At 277×373cm this is a 9×12 room-size rug for a living room, dining room or bedroom.

100% wool pile, hand-knotted in Pakistan, with a short fringe at both ends. Wool is naturally resilient and hard-wearing, and the close pile of a Bokhara is made for everyday use in living and dining rooms.

A light beige field shows marks and traffic paths more readily than a red Bokhara, so it suits rooms where shoes come off, or a dining room with a rug pad and regular care. Turning it from time to time helps it wear evenly.

Turkmen gül rugs are usually woven in deep reds, and that is the version most people picture. This one keeps the full traditional design — rows of lobed güls across the field, cross-shaped minor güls between them, a gül border and broad lattice bands at each end — but translates it into neutrals. The field is a light beige, the güls are tan and brown with only a hint of rose, and the borders stay in the same warm range. Nothing is allowed to shout. What you notice instead is structure: the regular march of the güls down the field, the slightly larger hooked güls in the border, the change of scale where the lattice bands take over at the ends. It is a rug that brings the order and craftsmanship of a classic Bokhara into a room without bringing its strong colour.
