Light, elegant, and beautifully fine, this silk rug centres a radiant star-burst medallion on a soft ivory field. Around it, delicate scrolling vines, palmettes, and blossoms spread across the cream ground in rose-red, sage-green, soft mauve, and gold. Worked in silk, the whole surface has a gentle sheen that shifts as you move around it.

The ivory ground keeps the rug fresh and airy, letting the multi-colour floral work and the central medallion read clearly, while a warm camel-gold border of leafy palmettes — touched with mauve and red — frames the design. It is a softer, lighter take on the classic Tabriz medallion, romantic rather than formal.

Hand-knotted on a cotton foundation in lustrous silk, the rug carries an exceptionally high knot count and the soft sheen only silk can give — the fineness that lets every small flower stay crisp.
