This rug covers a deep, near-black ground with a glowing all-over floral. Large palmettes, open blossoms and scrolling vines repeat across the entire field in warm gold, tan, teal-blue, soft green and rust, with no single medallion to anchor them — instead the dark field reads as one continuous, luminous garden, the gold flowers especially radiant against the shadowed ground.

A wide deep-red border frames the field with a procession of floral palmettes in gold, cream, teal and green, its warmth balancing the cool darkness within. Cream-and-gold guard stripes and a dark outer edge complete the composition. The pairing of a near-black field, gold blossoms and a red border gives the rug a rich, jewel-box quality — dramatic, opulent and quietly formal.

Hand-knotted in Pakistan with the fine Persian double knot, the rug is woven in pure wool on a cotton foundation — the pile dense and even, the floral detail exceptionally fine, finished with a hand-tied ivory fringe. At this size it makes a jewel-like accent for a study, bedroom or sitting area, and its dark, gold-lit palette flatters both traditional and modern rooms. Returns We accept returns within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition. To start a return, contact our customer support.
