A rose Jaldar rug with a column of three octagonal compartments, each holding a large stepped diamond gül framed by a ring of small star motifs around a finely patterned centre. Patterned bands link the compartments and half-compartments press in from both long sides, forming the net that gives Jaldar its name. Many narrow guard borders of small geometric repeats and end bands of zigzag frame the design, with fringe at both ends.

Jaldar rugs are woven in Pakistan in the Turkmen tradition, close cousins of the Bokhara but drawn around diamonds rather than oval güls; the name comes from the net-like lattice that links the compartments. This small piece carries a column of three octagonal compartments, each holding a large stepped diamond gül framed by a ring of small star motifs around a finely patterned centre. Returns
For a change of mind, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer and can be expensive from outside Japan, so please ask us about size or colour before you order. If your rug arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, contact us with photos within 30 days of delivery: we pay for the return and send a replacement or a full refund.
