Around it, delicate scrolling vines, palmettes, and blossoms spread across the cream ground in rose-red, sage-green, soft mauve, and gold. Worked in silk, the whole surface has a gentle sheen that shifts as you move around it.

The ivory ground keeps the rug fresh and airy, letting the multi-colour floral work and the central medallion read clearly, while a warm camel-gold border of leafy palmettes — touched with mauve and red — frames the design.
