Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A deep red field is filled with neat rows of small quartered güls — each outlined in black and filled with gold and blue — in this hand-knotted Pakistani Bokhara, worked in the timeless Bokhara manner of the Turkmen Ersari weavers. Cream-and-gold Turkmen guard borders frame the field, closing with an elem (skirt) of ikat-like flowers in navy and gold.

Hand-knotted in Pakistan from fine wool, the pile is dense and finely knotted, giving sharp definition to every gül and border. Coloured with natural dyes and worked entirely by hand, the tones glow with gentle abrash and every motif is drawn a little differently — the honest mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind, hand-made piece.

Material: 100 percent wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

Pakistani Bokhara rugs are hand-knotted in Pakistan, drawing on the great Turkmen gül tradition of Central Asia. This Bokhara follows the classic Ersari gül design — neat rows of small quartered güls marching across a deep red field, framed by Turkmen guard borders and an elem of ikat-like flowers. Coloured with natural dyes and worked entirely by hand, every gül is drawn a little differently — the fingerprint of a one-of-a-kind piece.
