Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

Rows of large cream palmettes float across a soft sage-green field in this hand-knotted rug, the pale motifs standing clear against the muted, dusty ground. The repeat is open and unhurried, giving the piece a serene, transitional feel that bridges traditional damask and modern calm.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun wool rich in lanolin, the pile is dense and soft underfoot and naturally resistant to everyday wear. The sage and cream are achieved with natural dyes, so the ground shifts gently across the field and every palmette is drawn a little differently — the mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind, hand-made rug.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

This rug takes a formal damask motif and softens it into something calm and contemporary. Large cream palmettes are set in open vertical rows on a dusty sage-green ground, with enough space around them to keep the design light. Knotted by hand in Afghanistan from hand-spun, naturally dyed wool, the palmettes are drawn freehand and the green field carries gentle abrash — the quiet signature of a single weaver and a hand-made piece.
