Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

The same flowering plant repeat as its navy sibling, worked in a softer palette: a near-black ground carrying staggered rows of small plants — vase base, forked heart-shaped blossom, paired curling hooks at the shoulders — in muted rose, salmon, cream and pale teal. The colours rotate so that no two touching plants match. A cream main border of the same plant drawn smaller frames the field, and beyond it a broad barber-pole band runs diagonally in rose, cream, teal and dark navy, closed by dogtooth guard stripes. Cream fringe at both ends.

Hand-knotted in wool with the double-knot technique. Everything is drawn rectilinearly, including the diagonal of the barber-pole band, which on a knot grid means stepping one knot at a time. This palette is considerably quieter than the wine-and-indigo version of the same design — dusty rose and salmon rather than saturated red, so it reads as a soft, antique-toned rug from a distance rather than a bold one. At 81×368cm this is a long, narrow runner. The dark ground is practical for a working hallway and hides everyday marks well.

100% wool pile, hand-knotted with the double-knot technique, with a natural fringe at both ends. Wool is resilient and forgiving underfoot, which makes this a practical choice for a corridor that gets real use.

The near-black ground hides everyday marks well but shows lint and pale fibres more than it shows dirt. The muted rose and salmon are lighter dyes than a saturated red and will fade sooner in strong light. A runner takes concentrated traffic down its centre line, so use a rug pad and rotate it end for end regularly.

Hereke is a weaving town on the Sea of Marmara, and in the trade the name travels as a design label rather than a statement of where a rug was made — this one is Pakistani double-knot work carrying that name. The design itself is a flowering plant repeat: rows of small plants, each with a vase base, a forked blossom and paired shoulder hooks, staggered so every row sits half a step off the one below. What distinguishes this example is restraint in the dyeing. The same pattern in a saturated palette gives you strong red against indigo; here the plants are worked in dusty rose, salmon and cream on a near-black ground, so the contrast between motif and field is much lower and the rug reads as tonal from across a room rather than graphic. Look closely and the colour rotation is still doing its work — no two touching plants share a colour — but at a distance the effect is a soft even texture rather than a pattern of distinct shapes.
