Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A deep indigo field carrying staggered rows of small flowering plants — each a bulb or vase base, a forked heart-shaped blossom above it, and a pair of curling hooks at the shoulders — repeated the full length of the runner. The plants rotate through wine red, ivory, apricot and pale blue so that no two neighbours share a colour. A cream main border of the same plant drawn smaller frames the field, and beyond it a broad barber-pole band runs diagonally in red, cream, indigo and tan, closed by fine dogtooth guard stripes. Cream fringe at both ends.

Hand-knotted in wool with the double-knot technique. Every element is drawn rectilinearly — the hooks, the blossoms, even the diagonal of the barber-pole band, which on a knot grid means stepping one knot at a time. At 79×391cm this is a long, narrow runner, close to four metres, so measure the corridor carefully before committing. The indigo ground is practical for a working hallway and hides everyday marks far better than a pale rug would, though it will show lint and pale fibres.

100% wool pile, hand-knotted with the double-knot technique, with a natural fringe at both ends. Wool is resilient and forgiving underfoot, which makes this a practical choice for a corridor that gets real use.

The indigo ground hides everyday marks well but shows lint and pale fibres more than it shows dirt. A runner takes concentrated traffic down its centre line, so use a rug pad and rotate it end for end regularly.

Hereke is a weaving town on the Sea of Marmara, and in the trade the name travels as a design label rather than a statement of where a rug was made — this one is Pakistani double-knot work carrying that name. What is on the floor is a flowering plant repeat: rows of small plants, each with a vase base, a forked blossom and paired shoulder hooks, staggered so that every row sits half a step off the one below. Watch the colours rather than the shapes. The plants rotate through wine red, ivory, apricot and pale blue, and the sequence is arranged so no two touching plants share a colour — the shape repeats, the colour never does twice in a row. That is what stops a field of identical motifs reading as wallpaper over nearly four metres. The barber-pole band in the outer border is worth a look too: a diagonal is impossible on a knot grid, so the two colours alternate one knot at a time to fake it.
