Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A hand-knotted double-knot rug from Pakistan, woven in 100% hand-spun wool on a cotton foundation in an all-over floral vine design. The warm gold field carries a continuous scrolling vine hung with palmettes, serrated leaves and small blossoms in brick red, sage green, ivory and soft brown, drawn openly enough that the ground stays visible throughout.

A broad ivory-gold main border of large palmettes and flowering vine frames the field, stepped out through narrow red guard stripes. The softened, sun-warmed palette gives the piece a settled, antique character. A one-of-a-kind piece.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on a low setting.
  • Rotate the rug every six months for even wear.
  • Blot spills immediately, working from the outside in.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight.
  • Have the rug professionally deep-cleaned when needed.

What sets this rug apart from the denser workshop designs is restraint. The vine still runs edge to edge with no medallion to anchor it, but it is drawn openly, so the warm gold ground reads as a colour in its own right rather than as background showing through. That openness is a deliberate choice: it makes a large rug feel calm underfoot and lets it sit comfortably beneath furniture without the pattern fighting whatever stands on it. The palette helps too — brick red and sage kept deliberately soft against the gold, so the whole piece looks as though it has already spent years in a sunlit room. Woven in Pakistan on the double knot, the denser of the two knots used there.
