Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A soft sea-green field shimmers across this hand-knotted Ghazni, its surface a living blend of teal, sage and warm sand knotted line by line so the colour drifts and changes like light on shallow water. There is no pattern or border — just the quiet, variegated play of many close tones, giving the rug remarkable depth and a calm, contemporary presence.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun Ghazni highland wool that is naturally rich in lanolin, the pile is dense, soft underfoot and hard-wearing. Every strand is a separate hand-dyed colour, so the field carries gentle abrash that no machine-made rug can copy — the honest mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind, hand-made piece.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

Plain, tonal Gabbeh weaves like this one are among the most modern of tribal rugs — no motifs, no border, just a single field of colour built up knot by knot. Here the weaver has blended teal, sage and sand into a soft sea-green that drifts across the surface like light on shallow water. Woven in Afghanistan from hand-spun highland wool and coloured with natural dyes, the gentle abrash from strand to strand is the honest fingerprint of a hand-made piece.
