Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A deep midnight-navy fills this hand-knotted Ghazni, its near-solid field broken only by faint bands of tonal dots and flecks of brighter teal that catch the light as you move. The effect is rich and almost nocturnal — a dramatic, saturated colour with quiet movement rather than pattern, the kind of grounding dark that makes everything around it look sharper.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun wool rich in lanolin, the pile is dense and soft underfoot and naturally resistant to everyday wear. The indigo is built from natural dye lots, so the field shifts in subtle abrash and the scattered flecks are placed by hand — the mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind, hand-made rug.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

A near-plain Gabbeh that lets a single deep colour do the talking. The midnight-indigo field is woven almost solid, then scattered with faint rows of tonal dots and small flecks of brighter teal so it reads as alive rather than flat. The indigo comes from natural dye lots layered by hand, which is why the field glows with quiet abrash — the unrepeatable signature of a single weaver working in Afghanistan.
