Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

Bold gold scrollwork sweeps across a soft slate-blue ground in a grand, baroque damask, all curling acanthus, palmettes and arabesques. The warm gold against the cool blue gives the rug a rich, almost Florentine sense of drama, formal yet full of movement.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun highland wool, the rug brings a European damask grandeur into hand-knotted pile. Naturally dyed and tied knot by knot, its lustrous colour shifts are the signature of a single weaver and a true one-of-a-kind, an opulent foundation made to last a lifetime.

  • Light shedding is natural for hand-knotted wool and eases with time

This design looks to the grand damasks of Renaissance Italy and Spain, where bold scrolling acanthus and palmettes cover the whole field. Worked in warm gold over a soft slate-blue ground, it reads as both dramatic and surprisingly easy to live with.

The blue-and-gold pairing is timelessly elegant, equally at home in a classic or a more modern, eclectic room. As a hand-knotted one-of-a-kind, no other rug shares its exact scrollwork and shading.
