Color

Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

Pure colour is the whole story here: a deep violet purple that fills a room with richness and personality, shifting between plum and amethyst as the light moves across the pile.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from a wool and silk blend, the natural lustre of the fibre gives the colour a living depth no synthetic can match. Use it as a bold focal point in a neutral room or a rich foundation in an eclectic one — either way, it is hand-knotted by a single weaver and entirely one of a kind.

Material: A blend of 60 percent wool and 40 percent silk. The wool gives strength, softness, and warmth, while the silk lends sheen and depth of colour.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum gently on low suction without a rotating brush, as silk is delicate.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour and sheen.
  • Entrust any deep clean to a professional rug cleaner experienced with silk.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

This is colour as the whole design. The deep violet purple needs no pattern to make its statement, and the blend of wool and silk gives it a depth that shifts from plum to amethyst as the light changes through the day. Purple has long stood for nobility and refinement across many cultures, and here it brings that sense of quiet luxury to a room. As with every hand-knotted piece, slight variations in colour and weave reveal the hand of a single weaver, marking it as genuinely one of a kind.
