Rug material

Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

Large, faded blush-pink blossoms are scattered across a soft beige-grey ground in a generous, open repeat. The gently time-worn look gives the rug the warmth of a treasured antique, as though it already holds the quiet history of a well-loved home.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun wool, it speaks to wabi-sabi — beauty found in imperfection and age — its muted blush echoing cherry blossom. It pairs beautifully with antique wood, ceramics, and linen, and as a hand-knotted piece, it is entirely one of a kind.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

The design is deliberately soft and time-worn: large, faded blush-pink medallions arranged in an open repeat across a natural beige-grey ground, as though the rug already carries the quiet history of a well-loved home. It speaks to wabi-sabi, the art of finding beauty in imperfection and the passage of time, and its muted blush echoes the colour of cherry blossom. Small variations in colour and weave throughout are the mark of genuine hand-knotting, the trace of a single weaver and a one-of-a-kind piece.
