Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A warm golden-brown glows across this hand-knotted Ghazni, the caramel field deepening and lightening in soft horizontal bands of abrash. There is no pattern and no border — just one rich, honeyed colour with all the depth and movement that natural dye and hand-spun wool bring to a plain weave. It is a warm, grounding piece that brings instant softness to a room.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun wool rich in lanolin, the pile is dense and soft underfoot and naturally resistant to everyday wear. The caramel tone is built from natural dye lots, so the field is alive with gentle variation that no machine-made rug can copy — the mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind piece.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

Another plain-field Gabbeh where the wool itself is the design, this time in a warm caramel brown. The colour is layered from natural dye lots, so instead of a flat tone the field moves in soft horizontal bands of abrash, catching the light as you cross the room. Hand-knotted in Afghanistan by a single weaver, the gentle irregularity is genuine and unrepeatable — the honest signature of a hand-made rug.
