A navy Jaldar rug with a column of five stepped diamond güls, each built from nested serrated outlines around a small centre, set on an open field. Stepped half-diamonds press in from both long sides between the güls, shaping the field into a chain of linked compartments, the net that gives Jaldar its name. A wide main border of hooked motifs, guard stripes of small geometric repeats, a sawtooth band and end bands of small diamonds frame the design, with fringe at both ends.

Hand-knotted in Pakistan in wool and silk, with a soft, silky sheen. At 79×125cm this is an extra small rug, ideal for an entrance, a bedside or a small space.

Returns
For a change of mind, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer and can be expensive from outside Japan, so please ask us about size or colour before you order. If your rug arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, contact us with photos within 30 days of delivery: we pay for the return and send a replacement or a full refund.
