Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A deep green field is covered with a graceful all-over design of palmettes, lotus blossoms and scrolling vines — worked in cream, coral, blue and soft green — in this hand-knotted Ghazni, in the elegant Chobi (Ziegler) manner. A wide ivory border of leafy palmettes and rosettes, flanked by fine floral guard stripes, frames the field. The soft, vegetable-dyed palette gives it a calm, understated elegance.

Hand-knotted in the highlands of Afghanistan from soft, hand-spun wool, the pile is dense and hard-wearing with a gentle sheen. Coloured with natural dyes and worked entirely by hand, the tones glow with soft abrash and every blossom is drawn a little differently — the honest mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind, hand-made piece.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

Ghazni rugs are hand-knotted in the highlands of Afghanistan from soft, hand-spun wool and glowing natural dyes. This one is worked in the elegant Chobi (Ziegler) manner — a graceful all-over design of palmettes, lotus blossoms and scrolling vines spread across a deep green field, framed by an ivory border of leafy palmettes. The soft, vegetable-dyed palette and open drawing give it a calm, timeless elegance. Worked entirely by hand, every blossom is drawn a little differently — the fingerprint of a one-of-a-kind piece.
