A green Jaldar rug with an open field scattered with small star-shaped güls in staggered rows, each a four-pointed cross with a small diamond at its centre. Half-güls cut off at the edges suggest the pattern runs on beyond the rug, and the open ground between them reads as a light, even net. A wide main border of linked panels with small rosettes, flanked by many narrow guard stripes and an outer band of diamond lattice, frames the design, with fringe at both ends.

Jaldar rugs are woven in Pakistan in the Turkmen tradition, close cousins of the Bokhara; the name comes from the net-like layout that links the motifs across the field. This large square piece takes the quiet, open version of the design: small star-shaped güls, each a four-pointed cross with a little diamond at its heart, are set in staggered rows over a plain ground, so the eye reads an even, airy net rather than a crowded pattern. Returns
For a change of mind, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer and can be expensive from outside Japan, so please ask us about size or colour before you order. If your rug arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, contact us with photos within 30 days of delivery: we pay for the return and send a replacement or a full refund.
