Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A dusky wisteria-mauve ground is overlaid with a golden diamond lattice, each compartment holding a small palmette or tulip in cream, gold and charcoal. Silk woven through the hand-spun wool catches the light, warming the soft purple-grey field.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from naturally dyed, hand-spun wool and silk, knotted one by one by a single weaver. Its gentle abrash and unusual mauve colouring make it a true one-of-a-kind.

  • Material: hand-spun wool with silk highlights, hand-knotted
  • Vacuum gently on low suction without a beater bar; the silk areas are delicate
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; never rub
  • Professional cleaning only for wool and silk blends; avoid home wet-cleaning and harsh chemicals
  • Use a rug pad, rotate periodically, and keep out of direct sunlight to protect the silk and colours
  • Light shedding is natural for hand-knotted pile and eases with time

Mauve is a rare ground colour in tribal weaving, and here it gives a familiar diamond trellis an unexpected, sophisticated mood. Gold lattice lines and small blossoms keep it lively against the smoky purple field.

Silk highlights lend the mauve a quiet sheen that shifts with the light. As a hand-knotted one-of-a-kind in wool and silk, no other rug shares its exact colour and drawing.
