Rug material

Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A trailing lily-and-vine pattern drifts across a warm champagne-cream field, drawn in silvery grey foliage with soft gold blooms. Threads of silk woven through the hand-spun wool catch the light, giving the pale palette a gentle, shifting lustre.

Each Ghazni rug is hand-knotted by Afghan artisans from naturally dyed, hand-spun wool and silk, a craft passed down through generations. As a true one-of-a-kind piece, no other rug shares its exact drawing, colour and sheen.

  • Material: hand-spun wool with silk highlights, hand-knotted
  • Vacuum gently on low suction without a beater bar; the silk areas are delicate
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; never rub
  • Professional cleaning only for wool and silk blends; avoid home wet-cleaning and harsh chemicals
  • Use a rug pad, rotate periodically, and keep out of direct sunlight to protect the silk and colours
  • Light shedding is natural for hand-knotted pile and eases with time

This is the soft, decorative end of the Gabbeh tradition: a trailing lily and vine inspired by classical Persian and European florals, drawn delicately over a warm champagne ground. Silk woven among the wool lifts the silver foliage and gold blooms with a quiet sheen.

The pale, luminous palette makes it feel calm and luxurious, a refined choice for a bedroom or formal living room. As a hand-knotted one-of-a-kind in wool and silk, no other rug shares its exact drawing and lustre.
