Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A deep, glowing ruby red fills the entire field, its surface alive with the soft horizontal striations of natural abrash. With no pattern to distract, the eye settles on the pure colour and the quiet movement of hand-spun wool catching the light, a rug that reads as warm, rich and effortlessly modern.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun highland wool, this plain-field Gabbeh celebrates colour and craft in their simplest form. Naturally dyed and tied knot by knot, its gentle tonal shifts are the signature of a single weaver and a true one-of-a-kind, a bold, versatile foundation made to last a lifetime.

  • Material: 100% hand-spun highland wool, hand-knotted
  • Vacuum regularly without a beater bar, and rotate the rug periodically for even wear

  • Professional rug cleaning recommended; avoid harsh chemicals and machine washing
  • Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and reduce wear
  • Light shedding is natural for hand-knotted wool and eases with time

A plain-field Gabbeh is the purest expression of the tradition: no medallions, no borders, just richly dyed wool and the natural variation of abrash. Here a deep ruby red shifts subtly across the surface, giving a solid colour real depth and life.

Solid Gabbehs are prized for their versatility, bringing warmth and a jolt of colour while pairing easily with pattern elsewhere. As a hand-knotted one-of-a-kind, no other rug shares its exact tone and abrash.
