Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

Soft blocks of gold, apricot and sand fit together like a sunlit patchwork, some panels brushed with a faint grid of fine lines, others left as pure washes of colour. The palette is warm and gentle, a quiet quilt of desert tones held together by the natural striations of hand-spun wool.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun highland wool, the rug turns simple colour blocks into a calm, modern composition. Naturally dyed and tied knot by knot, its soft tonal shifts are the signature of a single weaver and a true one-of-a-kind, a warm, easy foundation made to last a lifetime.

  • Material: 100% hand-spun highland wool, hand-knotted
  • Vacuum regularly without a beater bar, and rotate the rug periodically for even wear
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; never rub
  • Professional rug cleaning recommended; avoid harsh chemicals and machine washing
  • Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and reduce wear
  • Light shedding is natural for hand-knotted wool and eases with time

Patchwork Gabbehs assemble panels of different colour and texture into a single field, echoing the look of pieced-together vintage rugs. Here warm golds, soft orange and pale sand sit side by side, some blocks plain, some lightly gridded, for a relaxed, contemporary feel.

The warm, neutral palette makes it endlessly easy to live with and a natural partner for wood and linen. As a hand-knotted one-of-a-kind, no other rug shares its exact blocks and shading.
