Material: 100 percent wool pile, hand-knotted in Afghanistan. Wool is naturally resilient and hard-wearing, and the pile is made for everyday use in living and dining rooms.

A light, plain field like this shows dark spills and the direction of the pile more than a deep or busy ground would, so it can look lighter or darker depending on how it is brushed.

The centre of this rug is left open and quiet, and the character lives in its border. Around all four sides, small shapes are dropped in a loose, irregular band: framed squares and dotted squares, ovals and little hearts, zigzag lines, pairs of leaves, short bars and stacks of stripes. Orders are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days, then take 7 to 15 business days in transit. Every order ships with tracking. Returns
For a change of mind, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer and can be expensive from outside Japan, so please ask us about size or colour before you order. If your rug arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, contact us with photos within 30 days of delivery: we pay for the return and send a replacement or a full refund.
