Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A warm amber-gold field glows across this hand-knotted Ghazni, its copper and honey tones deepening toward the edges to frame a softly lighter centre — a quiet tonal border that gives the plain weave gentle structure. The surface shifts in soft bands of abrash, so the colour reads as terracotta in some lights and warm gold in others.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from hand-spun Ghazni highland wool that is naturally rich in lanolin, the pile is dense, soft underfoot and hard-wearing. The amber is built entirely from natural dye, so the field is alive with subtle variation that no machine-made rug can copy — the honest mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind piece.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

A plain Gabbeh with a quiet tonal border, this rug lets colour do all the work. The amber-gold field deepens toward the edges to frame a softly lighter centre, so the eye rests without any pattern to read. Woven in Afghanistan from hand-spun highland wool and coloured with natural dye, the field shifts in soft bands of abrash — terracotta in one light, warm honey in another — the honest fingerprint of a hand-made piece.
