Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

A dense honeycomb of small hexagonal güls covers the field edge to edge — a shimmering mosaic of green, gold, cream, blue and red on a burgundy ground — in this finely knotted Afghani Sherwan. Every cell is drawn a little differently, giving the rug a lively, jewel-box quality, all framed by a navy border of eight-pointed star-flowers with red guard stripes.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from fine, hand-spun highland wool, the pile is dense and finely knotted, giving sharp definition to every motif and border. Coloured with natural dyes and worked entirely by hand, the tones glow with gentle abrash and every figure is drawn a little differently — the honest mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind, hand-made piece.

Material: 100 percent hand-spun Afghan wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
  • Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
  • Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

Afghani Sherwan rugs revive the crisp geometry of the old Caucasus — Shirvan, Kuba and Kazak weavings. Here a dense honeycomb of small hexagonal güls — a shimmer of green, gold, cream, blue and red — covers the field edge to edge, framed by a navy border of eight-pointed star-flowers. Finely knotted in Afghanistan from natural-dyed highland wool, every gül is drawn a little differently — the fingerprint of a one-of-a-kind piece.
