Shipping & Delivery

Where we ship

We ship worldwide from our workshop in Tokyo, Japan — to Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and 19 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.

Shipping rates

Japan

  • Standard delivery — Free
  • Express delivery — ¥3,762

International

  • Free shipping on orders over ¥150,000 (approx. $1,000 / £790 / €920)
  • Orders below that — ¥15,000 flat rate (approx. $99 / £79 / €92)

Prices are displayed in your local currency (JPY, USD, GBP, EUR) based on your region. Converted amounts are approximate and move with exchange rates. Your card issuer may apply its own foreign transaction fee.

Delivery times

  • Japan — dispatched within 3–5 business days, then 1–3 business days in transit
  • International — dispatched within 3–5 business days, then 7–15 business days in transit

Every order ships with tracking.

Import duties, VAT and customs — please read before ordering

Prices shown do not include import duties, VAT, or customs charges. As the importer, you are responsible for these charges, which are payable to your local authorities on or before delivery.

  • European Union — import VAT of approximately 20% typically applies, plus any duty
  • United Kingdom — import VAT of approximately 20% typically applies, plus any duty
  • United States — duty rates on hand-knotted wool rugs vary; please check current rates

These charges are set by your government, not by us, and we cannot calculate or collect them in advance. If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs, outbound shipping, return shipping, and any charges incurred will be deducted from your refund.

Delays

Delivery may be delayed by weather, customs inspection, or carrier circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for such delays, but we will always help you track and resolve any issue.
